Is my data uploaded?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — the fee logic ships with the page and your inputs never leave your device.
Why doesn't it include county taxes?
County taxes vary by county and vehicle value (e.g. Colorado ownership tax on MSRP). We show the state-set components we can verify and tell you where to get the rest — rather than inventing a number.
Why do some results show a starting point or range?
For states like California where the bill depends on value-based components and official calculators, we show a transparent starting point rather than a false-precision single number. Where a component is unverified, we label it.
